Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Shalash

Graduated from Cairo University in 2002. 

Member of the German Society for Dental Implantology (DGOI).  
Dr shalash has a special Interest in the field of Dental Implantology in which he received certification from New York University in 2006. He obtained a fellowship from the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (USA) in 2008. Doctor Shalash also has Master and a Ph.D. degrees in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery obtained from Cairo University in 2008 & 2012 respectively. He enjoys working closely with his patients to provide them with a state of the art treatment.



Dr Mahmoud Shalash (BOS, MSC, PhD) graduated from Cairo University in  2002 with a honors degree. Shortly after graduation he applied for a master's degree in oral and maxillofacial surgery which he obtained in 2008. He also  became a fellow of the international congress of oral implantologists in the same  year. 


To continue his passion in Oral Surgery and specifically in dental  implantology, he obtained his PhD degree in 2012 from Cairo university, with a research thesis focused on bone regeneration strategies in the aesthetic zone. 

The thesis later won the best young researcher degree from the National  Research Centre of Egypt. 

Dr Shalash has a passion for teaching and lectures extensively both nationally  and internationally on various topics related to dental implantology. He continues  to mentor his fellow colleagues who are passionate about learning dental implantology whether basic or advanced procedures. 

Dr Shalash currently holds  the position of an associate professor of Oral Surgery at the national research canter of Egypt. He is also in private practice since 2004 and has a lot of  experience in managing simple and complex implant procedures.
