Job Summary:
The Product Specialist for Implant line is responsible for managing and delivering in-depth product knowledge, supporting sales activities, and creating technical and marketing content that promotes product understanding and usage. The role involves maintaining updated product documentation, producing educational materials and videos, developing product presentations, and monitoring inventory movement. The specialist also contributes to achieving Implant sales targets by supporting the sales team with technical input and product positioning strategies. This position requires strong dental implant knowledge, excellent communication skills, proficiency in Excel and digital content tools, and the ability to translate clinical data into practical benefits for clients and the internal team
Key Responsibilities:
1. Product Knowledge Management
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge base for implants, including:
- Product catalog with updates
- User manuals
- Installation and disassembly guides
- Troubleshooting manuals
- Store all content on platforms like Google Drive or Dropbox.
- Documents will be reviewed and evaluated quarterly by management for quality, accuracy, and innovation.
2. Marketing Content Creation
- Prepare content briefs for the marketing team that highlight product features and customer benefits.
- Monthly performance measured by:
- Number of ideas implemented in brand awareness or sales campaigns
- Creativity in creating:
- Structured email campaigns with scientific product content
- Written content for social media
- Short reels explaining product usage
3. Educational Video Production
- Produce and upload at least two educational videos per month targeted at internal staff or clients.
- Topics to include product features, updates, and benefits.
- Videos must be uploaded to the company’s e-learning system and will be assessed for content quality and presentation.
4. Creative Product Presentations
- Design compelling product presentation formats for:
- Internal training sessions
- Exhibitions and events
- Sales team client visits
- A quarterly report detailing presentation initiatives will be submitted for evaluation by the GM and Sales Manager.
5. Product Update Monitoring
- Stay up to date with the latest changes and improvements in Implants.
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to management on how to leverage updates or mitigate risks.
- Submit monthly update reports.
6. Inventory Movement Analysis
- Monitor product movement and flag anomalies such as:
- Unusual stock levels
- Overstock or understock situations
- Submit quarterly reports highlighting stock performance and recommendations for safety stock adjustments.
7. Sales Target Contribution
- Actively contributes to achieving the sales targets of the Implant line by:
- Supporting the sales team with product expertise during client visits and campaigns
- Assisting in identifying key clients and market opportunities
- Participating in sales strategy discussions and performance reviews
- Performance will be assessed based on individual contribution to Root sales growth and achievement of assigned targets.
